Kosovo won two gold medals in Tokyo, taking to three the total number of medals in its history at Olympic Games, following Majlinda Kelmendi's first Olympic gold medal in Rio 2016.
Distria Krasniqi won the gold medal in the 48kg category at the end of the week, which was the first for Kosovo in Tokyo and the first for her in her career. Nora Gjakova reiterated her success by winning the gold medal in the 57kg category.
Our country has only one racer left in Tokyo 2020, the possibility Egzon Shala.
Shala will face the Belarusan wrestler Dzianis Khajiankou in the first round of heavy weight, 125kg, on Thursday, August 5th.
Kosovo sent 11 athletes to the Tokyo Olympics, of which six were at the Olympic rate. Viewing the number of participating athletes, Kosovo's score is estimated to be fantastic.
