The Swiss star has been part of the club from England for three years, as he helped the club win Premier League and the League Champions in his time at Merseyside, broadcast Periscope.
But it wasn't everything about the forest garden.
He made 63 total presentations during three seasons and found himself a solid reserve under the orders of Jurgen Kloppi.
Despite that, he somehow turned into a cult-hero among Liverpool fans, mostly because he was a protagonist in a few special moments.
And one of them came after a loss in the FA Cup by Wolves.
He was greeted by Clopp, but immediately disappeared in the German jacket.
Frankly, we are still confused about exactly what happened here.
