Lul Raka, microbiologist at the National Institute of Public Health, has spoken about the process of vaccination in the country. He has called on all citizens not to hesitate to vaccinate.
He says that if 20 thousand citizens were vaccinated in 24 hours since the start of the vaccine process, they would actually have filled hospitals with patients.
We had this situation. We had 2,000 new cases, but we had a quick rise in hospital capacity. We weren't in the hospital” says Raka.
About 50 percent of the cases now recorded in Kosovo are under 30 years of age, that is, youth age. The most affected age group is 20 to 30 years. Even if affected, a very small portion of them go to the hospital, they go very easily. Even if these people don't stay in the hospital for long, they don't need to go to intensive care and they don't end up dying. Here is the point of vaccination”, he said on the “Fromental) show in T7.
