A total of 585 Afghan soldiers arrived in Uzbekistan by plane, and another 158 crossed the border on foot Sunday, according to a statement by Uzbekistan's chief state prosecutor.
The statement conflicts with earlier information from the Uzbek Defence Ministry, which says the Afghan military plane was crashed by the Uzbek air defence forces.
