FIBA Europe has decided that this summer all competitions of young age groups will be held as Challenger, not as before at Divisions, because of Covid 19. So there will be no ups and downs at Divisions.
FIBA Board of Europe entrusted the Kosovo Basketball Federation with a major organisation. This event was due to be held last year, attended by 11 countries, but because of the David 19 pandemic, all events in basketball were cancelled.
Earlier, FIBA entrusted Kosovo with hosting the European Championships, C Division for U18 men and the European Championships, the B Division for U20 women, as well as "Bubbble~ in February of this year, where Kosovo A competed (M), Slovakia, Iceland, and Luxembourg.
Even for this event, the FBK will hold all preparations so that the championship can go as planned. The FBK has earlier received FIBA congratulations on organisation. This organisation is not expected to be easy because of the 19-way rules with Ovidius, however, the Basketball Federation believes everything will go as planned. /Periscopi/
