U n EFA makes nominations for best 2020/21 season

U n EFA has made announcements official for the “award The player of the year”, whose ceremony will be held in Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday, 26 August.

The three nominated to target this award are Kevin de Bruyne of Manchester City and the duo of Chelsea, Jorginho and NéGolo Kante.

Manchester City and Chelsea coach Pep Guardio and Thomas Tuchel have been nominated for the “Best trainer”.

Norming did not have much surprise considering that both English clubs had a good season during 2020/21.

Manchester City won Premier League, but they were defeated for the Champions League trophy from the Tuchel team after losing 1-0 of the Blues in Porto.

Belgian midfielder De Bruyne was the key to his club's success, helping them win Premier League's third title within four seasons.

Manchester City Player had won the “match award in eight appearances of last season's Champions League, marking four goals and making three assets.

Kante is the nightmare of every attacker because of his widespread presence in the field, where he has covered almost every part of the Blues field during the 2020/21 season.

The French midfielder was named “Fighter” in the two semifinal matches against Real Madrid, as well as in the final against Manchester City.

The other Chesela star Jorginho had an amazing 2020/21 season, winning the gold medal with Italy in Euro 2020, becoming the 10th player in Europe to win both the Champions League and the European League in the same year.

Jorginho was more important for his success in club and country matches, controlled the game, and made shares for the team with his money trails.

The annual ceremony will be held at the Halic Centre in Istanbul in Turkey on 26 August next Thursday.
