A total of 73 aircraft, close to 100 vehicles and other equipment have been abandoned by American troops after leaving today.
General Kenneth McKenzie said it was impossible for these planes to be used.
Abandoned jets in Kanbul include MD-530 helicopters, used for close detection and attack and strike A-29 aircraft, the BBC reports, translates Periscopi.
Determining the cost of each aircraft and vehicle left behind by Americans is difficult but an A-29 unit costs more than $10 million.
In a LA Times video footage, it was like Taliban fighters with CH-46 transport helicopters that are very expensive.
Traffic - resistant vehicles that cost up to $1 million have also been left in Afghanistan. At least 70.
Also, 27 Humvee, suitable military vehicles for all terrain have been left in Afghanistan.
