The most controversial plague in history? Gerard made a mistake in order to dismiss Liverpool's coach

Liverpool fans, but even all Premier League fans, still believe Steven Gerard lost the penalty to Blackburn with the intention of dismissing Liverpool's coach at the time, Roy Hodgson.

Hodgson left the club in January 2011, following a negative series that saw Liverpool with only four points away from the area that descended from the league.

Fear was great that the team would fall out of the league under Roy Hodgson's orders, and Gerard did what he could to dismiss the coach.

The captain of Liverpool was able to mark a penalty for Blackburn when the score was 3:1 in favor of Bacburn, but...? Jerard touched his club's coat on the fan, turned his gaze at the coach and shot up on the door.
