Italian Roma club and London's Chelsea team had agreed several days earlier to transfer Tammy Abraham to the Italian team.
Despite having an agreement between clubs, Abraham was undecided about his future, as London's Arsenal team also cared about him.
However, “Gunners” had not made any offers for the attacker, which made Abraham decide faster on his future.
As Gianluca Di Marzio has reported, the player has now agreed to join the AS Rome after Jose Morinho's great insistence.
The transfer will not be borrowing, but individually, while it costs 40m euros, or about 34 million pounds, however that amount will be paid by rata.
The English will sign the contract by 2026, and is expected to benefit about 4-5m euros per season.
However, Chelsea has been thinking of setting up a restoration clause for the player, the clause that will be activated by June 2023, and that will be worth 80 million euros if the London club wants to return it to Stamford Bridge.
The 23-year-old will travel to Rome today, where I will run medical tests and then sign the contract with the Italian team.
