“During the bus check, it has been noted that 61 (sixth and one) foreign citizens (among them 2 minors), originally from Syria, Iran and Iraq, are on the bus. Police officials from the Investigation Sector under the Border Police Department in Pristina, who have been dealing with this case”, are reported in the report.
The suspect, Kosovo citizen, has declared that the migrants were taken to Prizren and that it is back in order to send them to the bus station in Mitrovica.
In this case, the caretaker prosecutor from the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica has been announced, on his orders the high-ranking suspect has been arrested and the same case has been initiated with immigrants. While foreign citizens have been treated by the Unit for Migration. After interviewing the suspect in the presence of his defence attorney, the same at the order of the state prosecutor by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica has been detained and sent to the hold for 48 hours”, the announcement concludes.
