Judges gave the score 77-75, 79-74 and 75-77 in favour of Paul.
After three quiet rounds, the dispute lived in the fourth round when Woodley finally went off into the offensive.
But things calmed down again at the end of the eighth round, and the judges gave the victory to YouTube's sensation.
But fans are convinced that the drug was devised.
A video is going around social networks where you see Woodley hit Paul hard, who ends up on rope.
However, Woodley clearly doesn't react harshly and relax by not giving him a knockout kick until the opponent has lost his balance.
