Today the Beer Festival begins with a lot of talk, Korca police increase security measures

Today in the town of Korca, the largest summer event in Albania, the Beer Fest, will begin.

The event will begin between 6:00 and 24: 00 p.m. and will continue for five nights, hosting the new bus terminal at the entrance of the city of Korca.

The party will also have a scene at the Old Bazaar. Apart from Albanian artists, participants will be DJs and best-known musical groups in Albania, and not only.

All groups and singers will perform live at the 5th night of the holiday, in both stages which await visitors not only from different parts of the world every year.

Police have taken a series of measures to ensure public order and calm during the development of this activity, Tch writes.

Meanwhile, police report that roadblocks will begin from 16:30 to 3:30, from the Ciflig village intersection to the intersection of the State Agency of Cadastra (ASHK) Korca; from stadium “Skenderbeu” to A SHK Korca and Crossing A SHK Korca, up to Voscopo's fence.

The measures taken by police, for ensuring order and public safety, within the framework of the Festival of Beer-Gush 2021.

On the 1808.2021 until 22,08,2021, in the city of Korca, between 6:00 and 00: 00 a.m., at the interior facilities of “Autobus terminal” in district. 17, as well as in the facilities of the old “Pazar”, Korca, the Beer Fest event will take place.

The Korca Police Local Directorate has taken a series of measures towards ensuring public order and calm, for the normal development and manifestation of this activity.

From Road Police Sector Services, in co-operation with the Korca Police Commissioner and the Municipal Police, measures will be taken to block the movement of vehicles on both street docks, on the rotation opposite “Old Pazar”; both roadblocks near the “City Center” building, along the Malic intersection and opposite “FormerNPV”.

The roadblock will begin between 16:30 and 00 a.m., each day of the Birra Festival, from the Ciflig village intersection to the intersection of the State Agency of Cadastra (ASHK) Korca; from stadium “Skenderbeu” to A SHK Korca and Crossing A SHK Korca, up to Voscopo's fence.

The flow of vehicles within the city will take place along the “Castriot” boulevard Fan Noli”, as exit of the city will take place from the “stadium. Skenderbeu”, at the Regional Road Transport Services Directorate (DRSHTRR) Korca, heading towards Tirana.

The direction of the vehicle's movement towards designated parking sites by the Korca City Hall will take place in co-operation with municipal authorities in the area around the stadium, from DSDR Korca to the village of Dishnica and from the intersection of Ersreca to the village of Dvoran.

Throughout the city, in the places where there is expected to be more gathering and circulation of people, on major avenues and road axes connecting Korca to other circles, there will be increased presence of Order Police, Criminal Police, Road Police, FNSH Groups, Special Forces “Eagles”, which will monitor the preservation of the order, will intervene in solving problems and prevent the creation of various situations that could affect public security.

Road police appeal to all drivers to avoid increased vehicle movements during these days, to observe road rules by restricting the use of alcoholic beverages, installing seat belts, and protective helmets, to avoid using cell phones on the road, with a view to avoiding possible road events.

Order services will also be taken care of to maintain continued contact with the managers of objects of particular importance, such as electricity or water supply, to strengthen their conservation measures.
