Bad news for Albanian Bregovic supporters, he had held concert against NATO bombings

The concert held in Thessaloniki of Greece in 1999 still exists as evidence that Bregovic, not only was he not against those crimes, but was lined up openly with those who were committing unimaginable crimes in Kosovo, as they had done in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. While he had never reacted to Serbian crimes, NATO military response Goran Bregovic had opposed his music.
At the time, the Milosevic regime and its bloody policy had reached a climax. Bregovic had joined thousands of Greeks and Serb immigrants protesting NATO intervention. The concert was also broadcast on Serbian media.
Bregovich has since come to the fore with political positioning alongside Serbian interests in the Balkans. His music had become the voice column of the entire Serbian genocide committed in the wars of the 1990s.
Because of Bregovic's participation in the Beer Fest in Korca, singers from Kosovo have boycotted the event. Bregovic's participation has also been vocally opposed by some artists from Albania. Some have even warned that they will prevent his performance in Korca physically.
