Two-time world champion Venezuela Yulimar Rojas has set a new world record as she won the Olympic gold medal in women's triple jump Sunday.

The guard jumped 15,67m on the sixth and last jump in Tokyo, breaking the previous record of 15,50m, which was set by Ukrainian Inessa Kravets in 1995.
It was the first world record at the Tokyo Athletics Olympics.
