The Afghanistan Embassy in Tajikistan has asked Interpol police to arrest former Afghanistan's president, Ashraf Ghan, Afghan national security adviser Hamdullah Mojib, and former Ghan's chief adviser, Fazel Mahmud.
According to foreign media, the arrest was requested after Ashraf Ghan, Hamdullah Mojib and Fazel Mahmood Fazly were charged with treasury theft.
Afghanistan's embassy demanded that Ghan deliver the treasure to an international court to restore people's property.
Ashraf Ghan left Afghanistan on Sunday, when the Taliban took over Kabul.
He is reported to have gone to Tajikistan, while the actual location is unknown.
