Afghan accession, Costett thanks Kosovo institutions for readiness

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has met with Ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo Philip Costet.
In this case, Ambassador Costnet expressed US government thanks for the decision of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to provide temporary and immediate protection to persons endangered by internal conflict in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, President Osmani stressed that Kosovo citizens, based on past experience, understand the need for safe housing for persons endangered by internal conflict in Afghanistan.
President Osmani underlined that the Republic of Kosovo will stand alongside the US and allied states, making its contribution to international peace.
President Osmani also expressed thanks for US support in meeting with the pandemic from donations to medical equipment and vaccines, to public reporting initiatives for safeguards against David-19 and fair information on vaccines.
President Osmani and Ambassador Costet also discussed deepening co-operation with Kosovo institutions in the field of foreign policy, as well as implementing reforms in justice and energy.
