The American Embassy in Serbia has reacted to the honour done to Commander Goran Radosavljevic, who has been involved in killing the Bytyci brothers.
In a Twitter post the American Embassy has written that Radosavljevic must face justice rather than be honoured with coatings.
“This was also the man in charge of the camp where the murdered remains of three Americans were found in 1999: Star, Agron and Mehmet Bytyqi. Radosavljevic was sanctioned by the US for his credible involvement in their murder. He must face justice, not take honour”, said the American Embassy's response in Belgrade.
The Serbian Special Forces Unit known as Gendarmerie has honoured former commander Goran Radosavljevic, who was allegedly involved in the murder of three American citizens who went to Kosovo to fight together with ethnic Albanian rebels against Belgrade's rule.
