Rarely does this: Majlinda is eliminated from the Olympics but heavily supported by the people

Despite the sport that is involved, the people in Kosovo always have the highest expectations possible, and that is definitely extremely positive, writes Periscopi.

The winner's mentality is the first step towards forming a champion. A negative aspect, however, is that they have often been guilty of abuses in social networks, in case a athlete from Kosovo has failed to win.

Whether it's boxing or football, athletes have been preyed to serious abuse when they were not protagonists in victory.

But not with Majlinda Kelmend. Kosovo's sports pride has been eliminated from the Olympics since today's first race by Hungarian Reka Pup, in the -52kg category.

Unlike Distria Krasniqi, who won yesterday's gold day, Majlinda did not even get close to that success.

However, the immediate has been the support of fans on social networks, with one writing:

There is no room for disappointment! Majlinda was and remains the star of Kosovo, until Albanians are on the ground!” (without interference).

A second added: ”Koken top Albanian, you're a living legend, defeat and victory are part of the race! Kosovo is with you!”

And the queen, Majlinda Kelmendi, may have lost a small one, but this is all the same.
