Diaz won the gold medal in weightlifting up to 50 pounds [55 kg]. The 30-year-old took gold with her last attempt.
Diaz won the silver at the Rio Olympics to complete her 20-year state's reception for medals, but she went to a high-level position in Tokyo and failed to keep her emotions.
Bloomberg reports that the triumph provides her more than just the gold medal.
It earned 33 million pesos (500,000 euros) cash ready by the government and also a home.
