President Osmani meets with Japanese prime minister, urges support for strengthening Kosovo's international position

President Osmani meets with Japan's prime minister, urges support for strengthening Kosovo's international office, the President's Office has announced that the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, in the wake of bilateral meetings during his stay in Japan, has been hosted at the meeting by Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihidé Suga. The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on the continuation of bilateral meetings during his stay in Japan, has been hosted at the meeting by Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.

She has thanked Prime Minister Suga for his support of Kosovo and has suggested Japan is a strategic partner. In this context, President Osmani has also thanked Prime Minister Suga for the support this state has given Kosovo in the field of health and environment, as it has shown readiness for deepening co-operation in other areas of common interest, especially for Japanese investments in Kosovo.

President Osmani has called for Japan's support in strengthening Kosovo's international position, especially in the process of recognition and membership in international organisations.

It has also been discussed student exchange opportunities on various educational programs.

President osman has extended an official invitation to Prime Minister Suga to visit Kosovo at a time appropriate to further strengthen partnership with the Japanese state.
