The 41-year-old became the oldest athlete in his country to get a medal, but everything could be wasted, following a response from United for Navidú, a group established for human rights protection. They insist that the Iranian is part of a terrorist organisation.
Their demand is for the medal to be suspended temporarily, at least until the probe for Javad is over.
It remains to be seen whether the IOC will take any measures for this request, or whether relevant authorities will investigate the potential involvement of the athlete in terrorist groups. /Periscopi/
