The Italian goalie flew early this week after medical tests in Italy and has now been officially reported as the new London player.
The deal is said to be a 15m-euro purchase option loan, but will become mandatory when it makes 20 competitive presentations for Spurs.
This represents a return to England for the 26-year-old who spent time at Manchester United Youth Academy and then played for Aston Villa in 2016-17.
Golin was part of the rotation at Atlanta, along with Marco Sportiello throughout the past season, then the arrival of Juan Mussos from Udinese this summer, has eventually removed him to second elections.
