The last contract the Argentinean star signed with the club from Catalonia was worth $500,000 a week, about $4m a month, and 50m euros a year, writes IndexOnline.
The 34-year-old joined Barcelona's first team during 2005. He has about 800 presentations in his career with Barcelona, where he scored 662 goals, made 305 assistisms. In his career, Mess has been punished 81 times with a yellow card and only once with a red card.
With Barcelona, Messie has won four times U. EFA Champions League, ten times the title of La Ligas and seven times the title of the Spanish Cup (Copa del Rey).
His future is expected to be decided within these July days. Of course, foreign media speak of a new contract with Barcelona.
