Shaw was one of England's prominent stars throughout the tournament, but few expected him to go out and give the three Lions the upper hand in the finals, leaving him in two minutes.
The 25-year-old opened the score in just a minute and fifty seconds of play, slamming home a brilliant cross from Chieran Trippier, who was drawn to the main formation by Gareth Southgate. /Periscopi
