Kosovo Judisters have traveled to Japan today, claim medals at “Tokyo 2020”

The Judo Olympic team is headed today towards Tokyo, Japan, where it will participate in the Olympics. Judits led by coach Dritton Kuka will first be located in the Sanjo municipality, where they will develop preparations. Later, they will be transferred on July 21st to the Olympic village of Tokyo.
Kosovo at the Olympics will be represented by five jungles: Majlinda Kelmendi, Distria Krasniqi, Nora Gjakova, Loriana Kuka and Akil Gjakova. As for the team toward the Asian state, Flaka Loja also traveled to the quality of her partner. Before the departure, Coach Kuka talked about the preparation phase that they're going to take in Sanjo.
The Sanjo city is the host of our team, the city that has been waiting for us before the World 2019. There we will adapt to climateization of time, and we will have preparations that will not allow spas with other athletes, due to the Devid 19. I believe that the team is numerous enough to help each other, as well as to maintain the performance and level of preparations we have already reached”, the successful Kosovo coach said.
All five Judists have qualified at the Olympic rate. Of them, the most likely for medals is the District, which is in vital form. But neither does the Olympic champion Majlinda nor Nora. Kosovo will participate in the Tokyo Olympics with 11 athletes.
6 of them at Olympic rates and 5m invitations. The rest of the Olympic team travels from 19 July onward. The Olympics, postponed for a year because of the pandemic, will begin on July 23rd and close on August 8th. Kosovo aims to win at least one medal at the “Tokyo 2020” Olympics.
