“I did not want the EU to investigate my claims because they would control the process and the outcome of this process,” said Mr. Simmons, here comes Periscope.
I have naively believed that I would change things, that I would change Kosovo. What was made clear by the Special Court is that it is ethnic, is the court where the process and result is completely uninterested in justice. ” he said.

Simmons said he knew that multiple “files were given to Serbian prosecutors. That international prosecutors had met with Serbian prosecutors in Belgrade. There has been great attention in EULEX to take former KLA soldiers to court, but not Serb defendants. I had my doubts why this wasn't happening. But this has to be done. If I were a citizen of Kosovo from Peja or Prizren, I would think: Why are only Kosovo Albanians being persecuted? When you see the crimes and atrocities committed in Kosovo, then the question should be asked: Why is there no defendants from Serbia? More needs to be done to bring justice to victims in Kosovo. ” he declared.
