Interior Minister Jhelal Svecla, in a proposal for Online Economy, has said that his ministry's priority is early retirement of police officials.
The police's early retirement bill has ended and has been sent to the Ministry of Finance, but, as a result of the resignation of then-Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, this process has been halted.
In addition, Svechla said his ministry's next priority is management of the pandemic situation. He next appealed to all who meet the conditions to receive the vaccine.
Our ministry's top priority is early retirement of police officials, but the government's number one priority is management of the pandemic situation, talking to citizens directly. I like all those who meet the conditions to come get the vaccine. This is a basic condition for a society and a normal life in the future in Kosovo”, Svechla said.
While wondering how much privacy is being violated after Kosovo police have invited citizens to denounce cases where there are traffic violations, bringing pictures and images, Minister Svecla said it is all based on law.
“All is based on law”, he said of EO.
These images are used as evidence by the Kosovo Police, who without even going out on the ground, fines the criminals.
