It seemed like football was finally coming home when Luke Shaw passed over the Three Lions in the second minute at Wembley, the Periscope broadcast.
Gareth Southgate's team was brilliant during the first 45 minutes, and it was well - deserved to enjoy the upper hand.
England, however, seemed extremely nervous at the next interval, as they received the draw goal through Leonardo Bonuct.
The final was eventually imposed on the penalty, and it was Italy that set up the cherri Delaunay trophy after Marcus Rasford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka missed out of 11-meters.
But let's not forget that Harry Maguire, one of the best Euro performers this summer, marked one of the best penalties in the history of the Euro finals.
Manchester United's captain took a few steps back before launching a rocket into the upper right corner of the net.
