On Sunday, ten Kosovo-born people lost their lives and 45 were injured when the bus on which they traveled took off the road in the Croatian town of Slavonski Brod of Croatia.
The bus, with 67 passengers, including children, had left Frankfurt for Pristina.
Croatian authorities were quick to react. Some of the travelers are still being treated in hospitals.
The care effort for people accommodated at Slavonski Brod after the accident is not over. We also have the organisation of accommodation and the departure of remaining travelers. They will leave Slavonski Brod in the coming days and weeks. We have already arranged a flight from Zagreb for three passengers Thursday who will leave the hospital on July 29th”, Red Cross Director Slavonski Brod confirmed, Mirjana Matanovic.
