In Ramnishh of the Year, two farmers who have over 70 cow heads say that because of the lack of workers are risk of closing their farms.
Substitute abuses are also pushing farmers to give up business with livestock.
Osman Fetah has returned from exile to invest in his homeland, but has been disappointed.
He says he has no assistance from the Ministry of Agriculture until the workforce is also lacking in Kosovo.
I'm very desperate. The price of milk is down. Compared to last year there is a price drop of up to 9 cents per litre”, Osman Fetah declares for RTV 21, this is Periscope.
Another farmer from this village of Heset Zenelli says there is a lot of difficulty finding workers.
We've had a lot of hope for agriculture, but now agriculture is not loving it. We're only working with families. We can't find workers. Even if you give it 30 euros a day it's not coming. They're not loving agriculture”
These farmers think that the absence of workers who have not been a problem until recently is becoming a problem for the development of livestock in Kosovo.
