Poor people are harder to please, says Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba's page
At the beginning of his career, Jack made catastrophic mistakes, denying employment opportunities, but later founded the site Alibaba, a Chinese giant of online purchases.
He became the richest man in China and one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world.
Here's what he has to say about failure and poverty:
Poor people are harder to please. Give them something free, they'll think it's a trap.
Tell them this is just a small investment, they'll tell them they don't win much.
Tell them to invest in a lot, they'll say they have no money.
Tell them to try new topics, they'll say they don't have experience.
Tell them it's a traditional job, they'll tell you it's hard.
Tell them this is a new business model, they mean pyramid.
Tell them to open a store, they'll say no freedom.
Tell them to start a new business, they'll say they don't have evidence that the new business will work well.
These people have something in common: they like to investigate Google, listen to friends who are as hopeless as they are themselves, in their minds they are more than a university professor and less than a blind person.
Just ask them what they can do? They won't answer you.
My conclusion: Instead of beating your heart faster, why not act a little faster. Instead of just thinking about it, why not do what you think.
Poor people die because of one thing in common: they've spent their entire life waiting for”.
