Achilles failed to win medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after being defeated by Rustam Oruyov in the semifinals of the survey Monday.
Judith from Azerbaijan beat Kosovo in a fight for a final country for bronze medal in the category of up to 73kg in Tokyo, reports Express newspaper.
The European Olympic medal champion's efforts were also terminated.
I'm not very satisfied with my performance. I'm here to get medals and considering that I'm a European champion and my goal has been the medal. But the seventh place is not that bad”, Achilles said after the loss.
Achilles lost an equal fight after a mistake in trying to get his opponent to the cork by finishing himself in the cork.
The 25-year-old won the first three wars before he was defeated in the quarterfinals by Mongolian judoist Tsefochir Tsgtbaatar, where he also lost the chance for gold or silver medals.
He had second chance for medals, the bronze one, but he failed to pass the semi-finals of the respesage, despite his good fight against Azar.
Achilles must be reconciled only to seventh place in Tokyo 2020 and without a medal.
But he can boast of the success of his sister Nora, who has secured at least the silver medal and will fight for gold in the category of up to 57kg.
“As a family, we are extremely satisfied and as a brother I am very happy”, he added.
Kosovo has secured two Olympic medals in Tokyo so far, both in Judo, after Distria Krasniqi won gold in the category of up to 48kg on Saturday.
