Jeff Bezo's wealth grows by $8 billion in 24 hours. The flight of his shares to Wall Street comes from the Pentagon's decision to cancel the 10 billion-euro contract with the IT colossus Microsoft.
So his legacy has now reached 211 billion, ranking first on the list of the richest people in the world, followed by Elon Musk with 180.8 billion.
His shares grew up immediately on the Wall Street Stock Exchange after the Pentagon canceled the contract he had with Bill Gates' Microsoft for the Culud service, signed in 2019.
The Pentagon then announced that it would proceed with a project after accepting more offers and proposals, broadcast the clan. But in fact, there are only two companies that meet all the requirements for signing a contract on this level, namely Microsoft and AmazonWeb Services.
One of the key requirements is precisely to work at three levels of information, divided into non-classified, secret and top-secret, and with security high global control.
The new contract has to technically last five years, but everything is still on track, both duration and value.
