The chairman of the American Economic Oda in Kosovo (OEAK), Arian Zeka, has said that placing a 100% tariff move on Serbia in 2018 and replacing it with reciprocity has prompted reactions by international partners.
On the other hand, he said Kosovo and the Western Balkan states should be oriented for good neighbourly relations, which is also a prerequisite for EU integration.
Although, according to him, the Government's warning of a series of economic tax locations would have benefits similar to that during the 1920s-2019s.

Kosovo and Western Balkan states are oriented for good relations among neighbours that is and precondition for EU integration”.
Furthermore, he said the problems existing among Balkan states in terms of trade should be resolved through mechanisms that are envisioned with the CEFTA agreement, EO reports.
All the problems that exist in trade among all Western Balkan states, including Kosovo and other partners, must be solved through mechanisms that are envisioned with the CEFTA agreement in this case or with other agreements if we are talking about free trade agreements beyond Western Balkan member states”.
“Such unilateral measures are not solutions and do not serve good relations between neighbours. In economic terms, of course, you would have benefits the way there were in 2018-2019, where in all other negative aspects overweight on any possible short-term benefits”, Zeka told EO.
