Jaka, who is leading Switzerland as captain in this tournament, was at the centre of criticism along with Gerdan Shaqiri and other Swiss media players after being treated by Wales in the opening match and losing to Italy in the second match.
The Arsenal midfielder was especially criticized for painting his hair immediately after the disappointing 1:1 draw of Wales.
He responded to criticism with a miraculous presentation in victory over Turkey, which keeps Switzerland alive to qualify among the top 16 as one of the four best-ranked teams in third place.
In a reaction to social networks, Jaka wrote: “The truth is in the field!”
Shaqiri, with two supergogues and one-on-one Haris Seferovic, helped the helvetic nationals win the first victory at this summer's tournament in Baku on Sunday.
Switzerland shuts down the group in third place with four points and goals -1, and will hope that four points will suffice to ensure the qualifications as one of the four best ranked third.
From Group A, Italy qualifies as leader with nine points from three matches and Wales from second place. Wells got away before the Swiss, thanks to the best goal.
Turkey leaves Euro 2020 since the group stage after three losses in three matches.
