Krivokapiq told reporters in Montenegro's Parliament Hall after leaving the hearing in which his initiative for the dismissal of Justice, Human Rights and Minority Minister Vladimir Leposaviq was discussed because of his statements that there were no massacres in Srebrenica.
He added that the road is clear: “You can seek confidence in the government or you can go to new elections”, RRTCG reports.
Krivokapiq estimated the time may have come for Montenegro to choose, as he stated, the best route.
“The only way Montenegro can lead towards a safer future is what victims are doing, and these are the members of the government, on which I, for coincidence, am responsible”, Krivokafic said.
Speaking about the initiative for Leposaviqi's dismissal, he said he proposed “at that is completely natural”, and that is to request a declaration of confidence from him.
The MP and one of the leaders of the ruling Democratic Front, Milan Knezevic, told Krivokapiqi in a parliamentary debate that whatever the outcome of the vote on the dismissal of Minister Vladimir Leposavic, he will no longer be prime minister.
“If you replace Leposavicin with someone tomorrow, you are not prime minister, even if you do not replace him, you are no longer prime minister”, Knezevic said.
Members of the Montenegrin Parliament must decide today for the initiative to sack Minister Leposaviq.
