Real Madrid is now reportedly preparing to sell Varan for 52 million pounds this summer, according to Spanish television show El Partidazo de Cope.
The 28-year-old has only one year left in his contract with the club from Santiago Bernabeu, and Reali is asking to at least financially benefit from his departure, Goal reports, says Periscope.
Manchester United has long been linked to Varan, who has recently been invited to France's national for EURO 2020.
