Chief State Prosecutor Aleksandar Lumezi has declared today that the case of 400kg of cocaine seized weeks ago in Lipjan, is under way of investigating and that the latter is being preserved in the Kosovo Police.
These comments, Lumez, led to the case of signing a memorandum of co-operation with Albania's Special Prosecutor for exchange of documents and information in the fight against negative phenomena.
He did not give much detail under the argument that the case is still under investigation.
The cocaine case is in the investigation phase. I can't give you any detailed information on this case. Exactly with this case, the Special Prosecutor of Kosovo is being taken away, but we are also in co-ordination with Albania's Special Prosecutor for the exchange of information that is needed for criminal procedure [ ...] as far as cocaine is concerned, it stands in Kosovo Police stations, is safe and is under police supervision.
