Kurti has honoured Sfish on the sixth anniversary of her death, while adding that Kosovo six years ago has lost its model citizen. The first executive has said Sfishta's heroism will remain inspired for new generations.
With minds and hearts, we are next to you on this day of pain and pride. Six years ago you lost a loved one and a family pillar, while the state of Kosovo lost fashion citizenship. Today we commemorate teacher Shaban Sfishta and his altruism, which exceeded the size of the human teaching mission. Dedicated for 17 years and 7 months to Kosovo's monthly budget salaries, Sfishta became the model of sacrifice for the major cause of statehood. His noble heroism will remain the inspiration of generations. We will honor the memory of Sfish, engaging daily in the realization of his dream, Kosovo's strong and advanced state”, says Kurti's letter to the Sfisha family.
Six years ago, at the age of 64, Shaban Sfishta, former Kimy class teacher at the Institute School “Naim Fraser” in Podujevo, passed away. I spent all his contribution to the education of generations. He worked 17 years and 7 months without a cent. His slogan, Sfishta, left it in the Kosovo state budget, a gesture that made it distinctive by other teachers.
For his sacrifice, he had received gratitude from the Ministry of Education and the United Nations.
