By September, Kosovo can apply to become part of international organisations.
This ban went into effect on 4 September last year in Washington's agreement.
Sabri Kicmar, director of the Kosovo Diplomatic Academy, has said that “from September Kosovo can apply for membership in international organisations.
I personally think that by September the Republic of Kosovo is completely free on the international level to proceed with admission to international organisations at any level that estimates it is of personal interest, but it is a personal opinion, while for official positions, the representatives are certainly being institutionally dressed with the right to decision”, he told Kosovapress.
Our <x0 positions on this issue should be fully agreed with our friends, the United States and the countries of the European Union, and I am sure that both the minister and the prime minister, in their official communications with representatives of the United States and the friendly countries of the European Union, will count enough arguments for the importance of Kosovo's accession to international organisations”.
