The Israeli Army said they attacked Hamas' armed areas in Gaza with missiles and the southern town of Khan Yunis in the early hours of Wednesday. These attacks are aimed at revenge for the Hamas attacks earlier Tuesday.
A Hamas spokesman, who confirmed the Israeli attacks, said Palestinians would continue to protect their holy rights and sites” in Jerusalem.
