Everything from Reddit to New York Times and the British government's site has stopped loading content around the globe, with the perdorus looking at messages in question.
This issue seems to be the result of the problem with Fastly, the company that offers the key services for many of the sites, writes Independent, translates Periscopi.
The visitors to the affected pages saw the message “Fastly air: unnow domain”
The messages in question seemed to change from site to site.
Even some of the biggest news organisations, including Guardian, New York Times, New Stateman, Financial Times and The Independent, were hit by the problem.
Some of the other pages are working well, including Facebook, Twitter and your favorite website, Periscope. /Periscope
