Chelsea's directors and coach Thomas Tuchel have agreed to extend the German contract until the summer of 2024, broadcast Inseder.
After just six months in the task of seeing Chelsea, Tuchel managed to lead the English team to win the Champions League, and was awarded a new contract.
The 47-year-old was initially employed in blue for only 18 months, but the achieved success prompted the management of the London club in extending the contract.
Tuchel took over the direction of the Chelsea from Frank Lambard, and led the Londoners from ninth to fourth, providing the club with the qualifications for the Champions League for the next edition.
