Dedaj announces he has released ambassadorship to Skopje, dismissal calls it biased

Deday through a letter, his dismissal from President Vjosa Osmani has called it biased, scandalous and political revenge.

He has said his dismissal was illegal and contrary to the Vienna Convention.

“President Osmani, who would have to carry out its constitutional obligations as a unifying figure, it has already become an honor one of the most divisive, blackmailing, threatening and discriminated against, on political, party and religious grounds in the Republic of Kosovo”, has written Dedaj in his letter.
In this letter, he relates how he has been asked to release the ambassador's commission in one day.

“He expressed regret that instead of gratitude, my state made this scandal against me for known purposes for me, without giving me the possibility of organising a grateful ceremony for the leaders of the RMV institutions, for the diplomatic chorus accredited in Skopje, many other friends with whom I had brilliant co-operation”, Gjergj Dedaj, former ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Northern Macedonia, said.

On May 31st, 2021, I have released the post of ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo in the Republic of Northern Macedonia in Skopje.

Following the biased, scandalous and political retaliation dismissal by Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, this illegal dismissal and contrary to the Vienna Convention, on May 31st, 2021 I have released the post!

President Osmani, who would have to carry out its constitutional obligations as a unifying figure, has already turned one of the most divisive, blackmailing, threatening and discriminatory figures on political, party and religious grounds in the Republic of Kosovo.

On May 26, 2021, President Osmani cynically, arbitraryly, without warning fired 12 brilliant and merity ambassadors into foreign policy and Kosovo diplomacy!

Among this unconstitutional and devious political dismissal was my dismissal, though I have passed a little over half of my regular legal mandate. This scandalous dismissal has moved me to make reactions outside of myself from her emotional, spiritual state and serious violation of my health and integrity!

To be even greater irony, on May 27, 2021, an extremely scandalous decision comes to me, signed by MPD Minister Donika Grovalla, despite her statement that all the downloaded ambassadors, conforming to Vienna's laws and Convention, will be given a deadline of at least three months for the release of office, but only I have been given a deadline within one day, so on May 28, 2021 to release the Embassy in Skopje.

After that comes another e-mail from Mr. Albert Prenkaj, director general of the MPJD, who mentioned the three-month terms of handing over the credentials to the Vienna Agreement, which I have sent to Minister Gervalla and the MPJD to write that the task should be delivered immediately under the decision of President Osmani and Minister Gervala.

Noting that they are aiming to denigrate my personality at any cost of the method, trying to eventually instrumentalise other segments of the state of Kosovo, to seek alibi and excuse for their scandalous decisions, I have also announced the office of chief state prosecutor.

At the same time, I've asked the MPJD to form a commission with representatives of MPJD and MPB, in the presence of my legal representative, to come to the embassy to make peace with the admission. At my request, I have again announced the office of my chief prosecutor and attorney! Meanwhile, President Osmani's husband, Princeton Sadriou, on the evening of May 30th sends an email to the embassy, where he wants me to have him submit to the diplomat Vlora Gashi, which was unacceptable and illegal, as such I refused.

On May 31, 2021, the MPJD has arrived at the embassy. Shkelzen Morina, Secretary and Mr. Mosskolaj director of the MPJD legal office, together with diplomat Gashi, has made verification of the actual state of the embassy, cars, financial situation and all documentation, consisting of the regularity of all of this. We have signed the whole process and released the embassy facility just like an institutional ambassador, head up and with dignity!

He expressed regret that instead of gratitude, my country made this scandal against me for well-known purposes, without giving me the possibility of organising a grateful ceremony for leaders of the RMV institutions, for the diplomatic choir accredited in Skopje, many other friends with whom I had brilliant cooperation.

At the same time, she expressed concern about my health and that of my lady who we were in the medical care phase after being infected with the Tyvid-19 virus, mine, my lady and all the family!
