The scenes on the field were extremely stressful, but thanks to the speed in response of Judge Anthony Taylor and medical staff heroism, Ericsen is now smart and stable.
Unfortunately, this was not the first time a player had an attack that risked his life during a match.
In the quarterfinals of the FA Cup in 2012, between Tottenham and Bolton, midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed after having a heart attack.
Muamba's heart did not work for 78 minutes, but in a remarkable way he was saved by doctors and suffered no long - term damage.
The incident forced him to retire from football, based on medical experts' advice.
