Pop star Britney Spears addressed a court in Los Angeles yesterday at a crucial moment for the battle she's been fighting against her father, claiming she had eliminated her chance to manage finances and businesses.
She said in the hearing that she only wants her life back.
Her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlaki, publicly supported her on social networks.
After all we've heard today, we must all support Britney Spears. Regardless of our past, whether good or bad, what is happening to her is not right. “We should never deny a woman the right to decide for her body and life”, Timberlaki wrote on Twitter.
No one should ever be imprisoned against his will or ask permission to spend money they have earned with hard work.
We are sending our support to Britney and we hope the court and her family will release her from custody,Timberlak added”.
The pop star spoke to Judge Brand Penny about the custody problem, because she has been unable to control her money since 2008.
This is the first trial that has been open to the public in the procedures Britney has conducted for 13 years against her father.
