It is learned that at 9: 30 a.m., at Teresa's “airport, a news conference of Prime Minister Edi Rama and Enlargement Commissioner Olivér Várhely will also be held.
Last day from Skopje, the commissioner said the EU could open negotiations only with Albania, if Macedonia does not resolve the stalemate with Bulgaria. Oliver Varhely estimated that Tirana has met all conditions for the first intergovernmental conference.
The “needs all member states on the table to agree on this, which means we have to find solutions in terms of northern Macedonia.
Whether the separation of two states is possible or not, this process is based on merit. If we look at Albania's achievements, I appreciate that they have met all conditions. So if there is no solution in terms of northern Macedonia, the time may come for us to consider this option.
I hope that no such thing will happen, we had a very important conversation with the prime minister (Zaev) and agreed that we should make progress and that we should do it for both states” said Oliver Varhely.
