Seville loses its fight for the title

Seville needed a victory to maintain supremacy after the chairmanship of Atleticos and its first vice champion Real and Barcelona. They had an advantage in the field of the house at most of the game, but they failed to score. They were penalised by Inaki Williams in the 90th minute of the game when Seville opened up fully and Bilbao carried out the counterattack and scored all three points.

Seville is now six points behind the first country just four rounds before the end of the championship, but they are quiet in fourth place with a 17-point lead over Real Sociedad in fifth place. Bilbao is 9th with 45 points.
