Prime Minister Rama: 600 thousand anti-Covid vaccines have been conducted.

“600 000 vaccines, Albania smiles”, said in status published by the head of government.

Citizen vaccines are under way in Albania, according to groups with Pfizer vaccines, AstraZeneca, Sinovac and Sputnik V. The vaccine campaign in our country has started since the first weeks of January of this year.

The vaccine process is being carried out according to all security parameters and quality from trained vaccine teams across the country. In the meantime, low figures of new cases with Ovidius have been reported in recent days.

Albania has emerged from the Red Zone of Covid-19. The news has made it known to the Minister of Health and Social Defence during her speech in the Parliament, while speaking about the epidemiological situation in the past two weeks.

Our country, based on epidemiological data, has emerged from the red zone, that is, the Covid19 danger zone, compared to other countries, whether in the region or Europe. This is thanks to targeted measures and the effects of vaccine that, according to public health experts, are beginning to feel”, Manastirliu said.

Speaking of the vaccine calendar, Manastirliu suggested that the measurable extraction of vaccine doses is expected to extend bandages according to risk groups.

“A few days ago, there were 11,700 doses of Pfizer vaccine in Albania, part of our contract with Pfizer company, and the first amount of doses to come under the support of the European Union instrument. While further allocation of linked contracts is expected each week, providing second doses, but also extending bandages, according to risk groups”, Manastirliu suggested.
