One of the strongest boxing hitters has been out of “section” for 14 months.
Deontay Wilder, who was invincible for 12 years in a row, was knocked down by the “The Gypsy King”, Tyson Fury in February last year.
It was the second clash between the two following a highly controversial draw in December 2018, Periscopi broadcast.
Wilder dropped two more challengers before he had to face the big man once more.
For the first time in his professional career, Wilder experienced defeat.
For Fury, it was a return to the glory of his victory over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. For Wilder, it was a devastating obstacle.
Angry with his trainers, Wilder explained:
I told all my trainers, no matter how it might look on the outside, no matter how you love me or how you have that emotional feeling, don't make an emotional decision and never throw that towel because my pride is everything.
I understand what it looks like but when you have power like I'm never out of a fight, no matter what the circumstances. I'm never out of a fight. ”
Wilder did not blame his ridiculous entry suit for perhaps being more tired than usual.
His performance on the way to the ring was scandalised by experts.
The Bronz bomber has since given all sorts of excuses from the conviction of Fury's victory in a <x0med gypsy” to claim Fury had the weight on his gloves to accuse his coach Mark Breland.
With Fury now likely face Anthony Joshua later this year, but Wilder's controversial match with the WBC heavyweight champion remains in the air.
Regardless, Wilder seems to be preparing for a return to the ring. After recently pledging <x0 taken by” to Fury in a post in Instagram, the former champion is currently in the best shape as he continues to train with Malik Scott. /Periscope. com/
